Sérgio Moro: The fact is that the company, even privatized, remains obligated to provide quality service to the people of Paraná.
On the contrary, with Copel's privatization, what we expect is an efficiency gain that results not in higher profits and dividends for shareholders, but in higher quality of the service provided by Copel.
Sérgio Moro: We are concerned because we know that, beyond the current difficult moment, we have to look to the future, and the future of the economy is the digital economy, information technology, the use of data centers — which do need a high level of power supplied in a stable and renewable manner.
Sérgio Moro: If today Copel has difficulty serving the ordinary citizen, if today Copel is struggling to supply quality power for the production of poultry or tilapia — that is, for agribusiness — what can be expected of it regarding the supply of electricity for that future economy?
