Samara Martins: and they invade our occupation spaces to beat people, beat the teachers, pepper-spray faces, in the same logic as the military police.
The penal police, who were the jailers— I work in a prison— who should be there to guarantee order inside a prison, but they want to deliver justice, and then you have tortures inside the prisons, modeled on the military dictatorship.
Samara Martins: So, the logic of the militarization of the police, and of life, because now they even want to militarize schools and make us into an army there, is not right.
Samara Martins: And that is the logic of our defense, of ending the military police.
