Samara Martins: I'm a dentist in the Family Health Strategy, part of the SUS, which is something I defend, my passion.
Samara Martins: I'm also a specialist in public health, with an emphasis on the Family Health Strategy.
Today I provide care in a prison, in fact, attending to those who are sometimes not considered important in society, who are there the trash of society, and I've done that work because the SUS also serves people deprived of liberty, people experiencing homelessness.
Samara Martins: So it's a wonderful system that, unfortunately, is not financed the way it needs to be, but it's a necessity, and we must fight hard to make it happen.
Samara Martins: I started in the student movement.
