Samara Martins: There were the ABCs, which were the fruit-and-vegetable wholesale markets, which were... government-run; in some places we even held a meeting of the pre-candidates in the North and Northeast, in some states there were public government supermarkets, and you can achieve this — if at first you can't take over the production chain, you can still set price anchors, because if at the government-run produce market you offer a price lower, that levels the other prices, because people will want to buy the cheaper option and will go to the supermarket to buy the more expensive one.
