Desconhecido: What did you see as different, both in the expectations of the population and in the politics you practiced so diligently in the National Congress and within your party as well?
Ronaldo Caiado: Daniela, I can tell you that I participated in the first election in Brazil in '89, when there was that enormous prejudice against free enterprise, the market economy, and the right to property.
At that time I was the only defender of the rural producer.
Ronaldo Caiado: At that time the rural producer was not seen as livestock, nor TEC, nor POP.
Ronaldo Caiado: He was, often, that's right, a demonized figure.
